10 Days Holy Family Tour In Egypt

Day 1 Arrival Cairo

Upon arrival at Cairo airport, you will find our representative waiting for you with a sign with your name then he will transfer you to the hotel for check-in and overnight.

Day 2: Cairo sightseeing 

Pick up from the hotel after breakfast and start a full-day tour to visit the most famous Giza Pyramids. You will visit the great three Pyramids of Giza (Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus), the Sphinx a huge half-human half-lion statue, and the valley temple. Then, you will enjoy a tasty lunch in at a high-quality restaurant. Then proceed to the Egyptian Museum. to see the famous collection of King Tutankhamun and the other collections. After that, drive back to the hotel and overnight.

Day 3: Maadi Church / Coptic Church / Coptic Cairo

Relish your Breakfast In the Hotel Then meet up with your personal Guide Be Ready To Discover This journey To Coptic Cairo, and scout the Church of the Virgin Mary in Ma’adi. then Proceed To Old Cairo where you will visit the Hanging Church and St. Sergius, then reach the Church of St. George and get to know more about the Christian era in Cairo. drive back to the hotel and overnight.

Day 4 El Matariya

Enjoy breakfast at your Cairo hotel. Visit El Matariya, Scout the holy tree “Mary’s Tree”. It is the tree beneath whose shadow the holy family rested. In addition, the child Jesus used a spring to draw water to arouse this tree. Next, you’ll rush toward the beautiful scent of balsam, an aromatic plant. Then head to the Church of the Virgin Mary in the Zeiton area. At the end of the day drive back to the hotel and overnight.

Day 5 Cairo /Mostord / Kafr El Sheikh

Pick up from the hotel after breakfast and move to visit Mostorad and Scout The bathing place is known as “El Mahamaah,” since the Virgin Mary washed Jesus’ clothes and bathed him there. Then proceed to the small village of Meniet Samanoud, During the Holy Family’s visit, its people welcomed the holy family & blessed it with its sacred spring water. Heading to visit Sakha town near Kafr El Sheikh, The Coptic name of the town is “Pekha – Issous” which means “The Foot of Jesus”. Christ’s footprint appeared on a stone, where he set his foot, giving it its name. Be amazed by the Virgin Mary Church. At the end of the day, drive back to the hotel and overnight.

Day 6 Tal Basta/Tanis

We’ll pick you up early from the hotel, then go to Babastis (Tel-Basta), where Jesus caused water to flow from a spring. Now we’ll visit Tanis and learn more about the 26th Dynasty’s main capital. Scout the mysterious Ramses Temple and the royal tomb At the end of the day, drive back to the hotel and overnight.

Day 7 Red Sea Monasteries 

After your relaxing breakfast at the hotel, your guide will take you to visit the Monasteries of St. Anthony and St. Paul. In the 4th century AD, two monasteries were built against cliffs rising out of the eastern desert. St. Anthony Monastery is one of the largest monasteries in Egypt. It is the largest known Greco-Roman necropolis in Egypt. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Head to Visit Al-Ashmunien, you will enjoy visiting the open museum. Then, Enjoy tours to Beni Hassan; which have beautiful Pharaonic tombs decorated with paintings and drawings depicting local and regional life of the Middle Kingdom. at the end of your tour in El Minya, a Jana tour guide will drive you back to Assuit and overnight in Assuit Hotel.

Day 9 Al Muharraq Monastery

Taste the flavor of your breakfast at the hotel, then move to visit Al Muharraq Monastery. This monastery was where the Holy Family rested for 6 months and 10 days, then proceeds to visit the rock-cut tombs of Miar. At the end of the day, drive back to the hotel and overnight.

Day 10: Cairo Airport

Pick up from the hotel with our representative and transfer to the airport to catch your flight to Back Home.
