St Catherine and Colored Canyon Tours

Your delegates will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh by 4×4 modern Jeep to start your unforgettable trip to St Catherine Monastery and the Colored Canyon. St. Catherine Monastery is considered one of the oldest monasteries anywhere in the world. Built between 548 and 565 AD and dedicated to St. Catherine, the monastery was built around what is thought to be Moses’ burning bush, located on the foot of the Mountain of Moses, where Moses received the Ten Commandments. Then proceed to explore the monastery which is home to Russian and Greek icons, marbles, Arab mosaics, illuminated manuscripts, and oil paintings. Take a stroll through and climb the narrow colored canyons located on the northern side of Nuweiba, which are approximately 12 km long. Continue to the fabulous city of Dahab, where you will have lunch at a local restaurant in the city and have free time to stroll through the city. You will then be escorted to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh by a Jana Tours Delegate.
